reliance

It is disheartening to hear fellow Ghanaians complain  and ask for governmental intervention anytime given the opportunity when facing a their individual problems such as being evicted from their homes because the houses are built on roads or because the land they are occupying has an right owner, It could also be that parents need money for the treatment of an aliment of their ward or any other predicament . The most mind boggling part of the whole show is when chiefs of towns endowed with rich mineral resources seek government's aid to develop their communities while they are the overlords of their lands and have been chosen to mobilise their youths to develop their communities
Fine lets face facts, everybody in Ghana pays taxes citizen or not, directly and indirectly; government is also directly responsible for each person citizen or non-citizen to make  life comfortable and better for us but gone are the days of manner raining from above directly or better still the days of  NNkrumah when our population was just a handful, we should  know that we are in another era where each person is to strife for him/herself to making it in life.
Perfect governance is not only achieved by the president and his officials but through participation by everyone citizen or not. The only true remedy for the countless problems and challenges of our dear nation is collective responsibility by us ;because we make up the govt (government for the people by the people and of the people
