socio medio

socialFor every organization, there is a need for the organization to look at its target audience each time in order to revise its way of communication as there are new technologies adapted everyday to reach a much larger audience in a quicker and more convenient way.
It is therefore imperative for organizations to be abreast with the newest of technologies especially looking at what their target audience is familiar or would be familiar with as an advantage to the organization to reaching a bigger chunk of the market share. The early bird they say catches the early worm.
Organizations may use social media to interact with their audience to advertise more, which will go down to not only, reach a larger audience but help in cutting down cost of advertising.

The one and only social media.

The online world provides an unprecedented opportunity to get customer feedback but too few companies harness it.
Marketing your products via social media facilitates your organization get customer feedback from or how you are running your business plus the real state of the products or services you are rendering out. Hence the feedback obtained from your customer helps you adjust your business model as it gives you a real face of how your product or service is appreciated.
Another plus is the fact that the feedbackadjust of customers aids you in shaping decisions. Some of the comments made tend to suggest some ways of getting the best of services from you thereby making better and brighter choices as you go on.
Online marketing has now shifted from the traditional way of board members being the sole decision maker for the organizations. Now customer feedback also contributes immensely to decisions made. Besides at the end of the day it’s the customer who matters most as they end up using the product or service.

Where do you fall?

The Real Meeting
The Real Meeting
Why some people talk at meetings
Meetings are very interesting. It brings together very interesting characters on board to analyze issues. Some people are undoubtedly very talented at contributing on how to solve “the problem” at hand while others are what are thought as “how they actually ended up here”.
To show that they are the guru of that particular subject
Sure some people are really good in tackling certain issues but seriously they sometimes talk just to spite others that they know a how to deal with a particular subject. They are really talkie but sometimes tend to bore. They could easily make you feel less of yourself giving you serious in-depth knowledge about the whole situation at and but sometimes they lead everyone astray by digressing from the main topic. Plus they prattle like nobody’s business.
To prove that they are also contributing at the meeting
For others it sends the message across other members that they are also contributing in the meeting. Often they people talk to second motions they don’t even understand themselves. Dear oh dear. At least in the end other members will view them as real time contributors.
To really broach on the issues at hand with solutions
Others do an in-depth analysis on the issue at hand and broach the subject very well in a way that will bring results. Such people come with concurrent solutions. They are really talkie but do not like to waste time especially when the answers they seek from the committee is not forth coming.
Just to argue and waste time
Of course, some members go to just to argue unnecessarily on factless or baseless issues and eventually digress from the main topic. They do not do any research at all on issues at hand but rely on other members of the association to give them a fair idea of what they think about the whole situation. Again they are often used by schemers to slow down progress especially when it comes to making critical decisions to the benefit or detriment of the organization.
Anyway where do you fall?

We often go to meetings not really knowing what exactly will please the chief or boss .Sometimes we say my boss is too hard to please, he/she’s just too tough, how do I get it right. Anyway thank God your boss is hard to please since that makes you think outside the box in the end. Now here’s what your boss needs at the end of the meeting.
Something New
Your boss needs to hear what he/she hasn't heard before. Something new and refreshing that we know lights up the darkness the organization is in and not the same old hard lullaby that brings no results. A feasible idea worth listening to and doing the necessary follow ups. I mean something new on the table.
Question Him/Herself
They want to question their own competence as chief after the meeting; that times and modes of approaching or solving issues have changed so they ought to follow that path and not loose track of everything that happens. They want to question themselves in all that they do to strive for the needed results.
Why the Oblivion Till Now
They want to ask why they didn't know all of that till now. They want to know that the solution had been there but the oblivion virus just caught them off guard. So thank God for this amazing team they have.
Enthused
They want to be enthusiastic for the next meeting since their team is poised to provide the needed answers to get the results they dearly need.
Best Team
Last but by no means least they want to feel so privileged to have the team they do. But don’t be fooled because managers or bosses know a lot and have really been around that’s why they are in that position.

my boss needed

wheeeeeh!!!

We are in the 21st century and in 2013. Technology has revised ways meetings or conferences should be held. Its time your organization got itself into the technology triangle as it stands to give it leverage over what is happening all around. Here’s what used to be done and what is done now.
Before
 Use of only hard copy (so heady and cold) minus visuals and discussing every plausible idea verbally plus the use of markers or highlighters for illustrations.
 Monologue thinking where only people in the boardroom decide for the mass out there. But come to think of it why should just a few numbers of people just decide on an issue or a product when they may not end up using the product themselves
 Waiting each member of the board to think together and take decisions for both internal and external publics of the organization. Consumers and staff alike. Waiting for every member to be a part of the meeting.
After
 With the fusion of technology color is now added to presentations. Sample Videos are now used to aid in pitching what you intend doing instead of the all round verbal pitching. Who needs a marker or highlighter now when the projector with all its visuals plus animations project ideas or intents better? The use of visuals or animations has come to replace the boredom of hard copy where everything is in black and white.
 “Multilogue thinking” that how I call wait gathering opinions of people especially consumers who are the real time users of the product or service before or right at the meeting via social media. For certain candid answers needed directly from consumers themselves you could easily type out the problem or issue at hand on the organization’s web page or social media sites for quick response right at the meeting .Using the computers or tabs for easy access to other sites or platforms on the same issue. After everything is said and done the consumers are the real users of the product or service.
 Easy access to other member’s feedback during meetings via social media or video conferencing.
Which century is your organization still in?
