Gold discovery at Elmina in Ghana

There are reports of a major discovery of gold at the Elmina beach in the Central Region of  Ghana. scores of residents rushing for the discovery while some are hauling away sea-sand to their homes to guard their newly discovered treasure. fishermen and their families kept vigil burrowing the sand for gold. " the end of our suffering depends on our toils for tonight" says a fisherman

Government Standings

Its  amazing to know how most Ghanians often think of government as the ruling party in cabinet and alienate the opposition parties as well as themselves. They often forget that their power by virtue of their thump gave the ruling cabinet power. 
And in any case the opposition parties always take advantage of  the ignorance of the people to give excuses of not  getting a fair quota of the national cake to develop their communities very well . However when there are eventualities these same opposition members will donate massively to help victims but will not do same to prevent such attacks.
Its so interesting the to know the standings of Ghanian politics now its like a debate no! more of  I stand FOR  or AGAINST this motion. May God himself liberate us form this psychological bondage via eradicating illiteracy from this beautiful nation .
